MedievalChick.com is a website created by the fictitious Mysmi Chick. The site is dedicated to Mysmi's favorite subject the Moirai. The Moirai were apparently a society that existed far in her past and left many artifacts of their existence. They were explorers, researchers, archivists, writers, artists, and perhaps something else known only to a few?
The fun of MedievalChick.com is to try and figure out the secrets of the Moirai past by looking for clues in the Chick Archives and figuring things out with the help of the glossary and the essays written by Mysmi and her staff. Updates will be made just about every week and clues to the main story will be told in weekly expedition updates by Mysmi in the Chick Current section.
There is also a plan in the works for the site to become more episodic with the current chick stories of Mysmi's life corresponding with the newest srchived journal entries of the Moirai characters. This is a process that will hopefully begin soon, when there is enough of the back story of the Moirai on the site.

OK. Here's the deal.
Sometime in our near future a great catastrophe occurs that decimates society as we know it. It becomes known as the Great Crash. The Great Crash is followed by three ages. The Fallen Age, the Middling Age, and the High Age. During the Fallen Age all details of the Great Crash and the times before it are lost to mankind. Most of our stories will take place in the Middling Age. A time of both rebirth and repression. During this time the Moirai are in their golden age. Rediscovering lost arts and expanding the horizons of the world.
The current storyline of Sorrow, Hectae, Ranna, and Katthan all takes place during the Middling Age. By reading their archived journal entries and reading their Moirai files you can begin to get a sense of the story and where its going.
The current storyline of Mysmi Chick and the staff of MedievalChick.com takes place at the end of the High age. To better understand their story its best to read the current chick updates from Mysmi, the about chick section that tells Mysmi's history, and the essays of Mysmi and her staff.
